RADIO CAROLINE - Goodbye Mi Amigo & The Last Show On Caroline North
CD 1 - The last programme to be broadcast from the Mi Amigo was 19th March 1980. The listeners at the time thought something was wrong, the numbers for their office and loss of regular programmes. Sadly it ended in tragedy as the ship began to sink & was finally abandoned, the following day the Mi Amigo sank in a fierce gale.
This recording is over an hour of the last broadcast from Caroline that day, until they left the air to man the lifeboats.

The British Government called a General Election for the 18th of June 1970, and on the 13th of June RNI changed its name to Radio Caroline and started urging listeners to vote Conservative.
This propaganda broadcast by the station is probably the most contraversial programming ever heard from an offshore radio station

RADIO NORDSEE INTERNATIONAL - Fire & Attack Set... 2 CD Set
CD - 1 THE FIRE
On Saturday, the 15th of May 1971, 3 men pulled along RNI in a rubber dinghy, 2 of the men, climbed onto the Mebo II and went down to the engine room and lit a fire, returned to the dinghy and set off back to the Dutch coast. Within minutes there was a huge explosion which set the stern of the ship alight.
This CD contains the S.O.S messages which were broadcast by Dave Rogers, Crispian St John and Alan West.

CD- 2 UNDER ATTACK
In the afternoon of Saturday, 29th of August 1970, a launch and a tug were seen approaching the Mebo II. The launch drew alongside and Kees Manders climbed aboard, demanding that the Mebo II enter harbour. His demands were turned down and he left, threatening to cut the anchor chain and tow the ship in.

SWINGING RADIO ENGLAND - Johnnie Walker's last Show & Last day extracts
CD 1 - Swinging Radio England had a loyal audience but sadly there just wasn't enough advertising revenue to make it pay. Hear some last day extracts & fun moments from SRE before the station left the air at 11.30pm on 13th November 1966. The station was replaced the next day by the Dutch language Radio Dolfijn.
CD 2 - Johnnie Walker joined Swinging Radio England at its start in May 1966 but was told he would have to change his name as Peter Dee was too similar to that of another DJ, Roger Day. He chose his new identity from a tape of American radio jingles and became Johnnie Walker.
This is an hour of Johnnie's last Show on 15th September 1966, in October he moved to Caroline South as the station swing-jock, deputising for DJs on shore-leave.
